Hi "Marie" :)

Just posting this one to say "Hi Marie". Alright, new post, new topic. Because now that this post has a smiley in the title, I feel as though I've tainted it with happiness and a less-serious tone. So, I'll just post something else momentarily. Possibly. If I don't change my mind about that.

So anyway. Bye. For now.

School Starts In A Month...

So school is starting up again. September 2nd, 2010, for me. I'll be a freshman in high school *gulp*. I'm only slightly nervous about it, though. But I'll be busy, with all of the work I'll have. Here's the courses I'll have.

College Prep Algebra
College Prep French
Honors Biology
Honors English
AP World History
High School 101 (Mandatory)
Gym
Band (Yes, it's a class in my high school)

I'll also be doing Marching Band, so I'm sure to be a busy person come this fall.
Oh, and if you were wondering, the course levels in my school are (from lowest to highest): Basic, Standard, College Prep (CP), Honors, Advanced Placement (AP). So yeah, I just kind of felt the need to brag about my course load there. Sorry.

When school comes back in session, we all go shopping. Back to school shopping, of course. I'm going to try to post a list of "Must Have" things sooner or later, for this school year.

Well I'm already tired of typing, so until next time... Bye.

School Is Over... But Drama Isn't :/

Hello!
Well, school ended this past Thursday for me (June 24, 2010, if any of you already stopped keeping track of the days). However, things are still tense between me and that ex-bestfriend Marie. I honestly think things have gone too far for us to ever be friends again. Oh well. Life will keep moving, even if I don't, so I'd best move on now, while I've got the entire summer to forget her, and make new memories, with my real friends.
So, summer is here! I'm kind of sad though, as I won't be seeing most of my classmates until September. Again, oh well. Hopefully I'll get to the beach at least once this summer. That would be nice.
Oh, I guess now would be a good time to mention that this September, I will be a freshman in high school! Yes, September 2010, I become an official high schooler. I'm really excited, as expected, but I am also slightly nervous. Nervous about the work, of course. I'm taking a mix of College Prep, Honors, and even an AP course next year, so I'm a bit anxious, to see how I'll cope with the work load, and how I'll manage my social life. Well, time will tell, because I most certainly don't know how I'll handle it all.

So, I'm bored of blogging already, for the night. Hopefully with summer, comes more frequent blogging.
Bye!

My 8th Grade Trip To Six Flags, And Other News

Hello! Long time no post. Now, before I get to the part about my 8th grade field trip to Six Flags, I must cover important information pertaining to this blog.
My blog has it's first official follower!
Welcome, Sarah, to Kat's wonderful blog. I, am obviously Kat. I am ever so excited that a real human being has actually taken interest in this blog of mine. I will now attempt to update my blog more frequently, and monitor content more carefully, to make sure only the best content is published for your eager eyes.
Okay, I'm done pretending to be some major company that actually has people that pay attention to it.

So. Six Flags.
I went with my graduating 8th grade class today to Six Flags Great Adventure. I rode Kingda Ka! My goodness, that ride is good. It wasn't actually as bad as I thought it would be. I also rode Nitro, and a few other good rides. As you can tell, I have a strong stomach, and deeply enjoy the thrill of roller coasters.
All was fun, except for the fact that the friends I have mentioned in previous posts, Elizabeth and Jordan, basically ditched me, so they could go hang out with my ex-bestfriend. Oh, and they went on some Dare Devil Bungee Jumping thing, had Jordan's boyfriend record it, and then they posted it to Facebook. How cool is that? My ex-bestfriend stealing the two closest friends I have! Great!
Well, that wasn't so bad. I hung out with other friends of mine, so it was all good, I guess. Wow, I'm tired now. I'd hate to blog such a short post, but I really am tired now. Six Flags wore me out. So, I guess maybe I'll post tomorrow, if I remember, or soon. Hopefully within a week. Afterall, school is ending in less than two weeks, so I'll want to blog about that, and pour my heart out to all one of my followers.

But seriously. I'm going to just publish this post now and go to bed.
Good-bye, until next time!
Kat

Is Your School "Silly For Silly Bandz" Too?

Hello, people of the World Wide Web. I haven't posted in a while. I guess I've just been kind of busy. Well, right now I'm having one of my "OMG I'm fashion retarded" moments. These happen every once in a while, when I get the sudden urge to go Google crazy, trying to find out about the latest fashion trends and what not, to see if I am up to par with the big shot fashionistas of the celebrity world.
Well, I'm never even close to being "up to par" with the celebrity fashion world. But still, I like to pretend that I'll actually try to put effort into buying "fashion-forward" clothes.

So in this post, I'm going to talk a bit about one of the only teen, child, and even toddler, trends that I've been keeping up with recently: Silly Bandz.
They're sweeping through high schools, middle schools, and even elementary schools across the nation. Those silly little colored rubber-band, animal-shaped bracelets. How did such a simple, cheap accessory capture the fashion spot light? Some blame the economy, saying that many would rather buy rubber bands, over a Gucci purse. But really? Colored, animal shaped, rubber bands? A fashion trend? Well, believe it or not, these silly little Silly Bandz are the latest trend among young people today.
Some kids have a few Silly Bandz. Some kids have arms covered in the rubber bands, and still wanting more. What is the point of these bracelets? They are just rubber bands, after all. But I guess that's just it. There is no point to the bracelets. They are just simple and affordable ways to accessorize. Well, that is, if you consider them accessories.

Okay, I think I am just rambling now. But really, these Silly Bandz are taking over schools. But how many Silly Bandz is just too many?

I've got 13. How many do you have? (Seriously. How many?)

Well, I'd best go back to researching the latest and greatest fashion trends. Good-bye for now!
