Hello, people of the World Wide Web. I haven't posted in a while. I guess I've just been kind of busy. Well, right now I'm having one of my "OMG I'm fashion retarded" moments. These happen every once in a while, when I get the sudden urge to go Google crazy, trying to find out about the latest fashion trends and what not, to see if I am up to par with the big shot fashionistas of the celebrity world.
Well, I'm never even close to being "up to par" with the celebrity fashion world. But still, I like to pretend that I'll actually try to put effort into buying "fashion-forward" clothes.
So in this post, I'm going to talk a bit about one of the only teen, child, and even toddler, trends that I've been keeping up with recently: Silly Bandz.
They're sweeping through high schools, middle schools, and even elementary schools across the nation. Those silly little colored rubber-band, animal-shaped bracelets. How did such a simple, cheap accessory capture the fashion spot light? Some blame the economy, saying that many would rather buy rubber bands, over a Gucci purse. But really? Colored, animal shaped, rubber bands? A fashion trend? Well, believe it or not, these silly little Silly Bandz are the latest trend among young people today.
Some kids have a few Silly Bandz. Some kids have arms covered in the rubber bands, and still wanting more. What is the point of these bracelets? They are just rubber bands, after all. But I guess that's just it. There is no point to the bracelets. They are just simple and affordable ways to accessorize. Well, that is, if you consider them accessories.
Okay, I think I am just rambling now. But really, these Silly Bandz are taking over schools. But how many Silly Bandz is just too many?
I've got 13. How many do you have? (Seriously. How many?)
Well, I'd best go back to researching the latest and greatest fashion trends. Good-bye for now!

Just Posting To Say "Hey"...
"Hey".
Listening To: "My First Kiss" - 3OH!3 (Feat. Ke$ha)
Well, I'm just posting right now for the sake of posting, because it's been awhile. I guess I'll post updates on my little war with that ex-bestfriend of mine later on. My other friend, Jordan, has been desperately trying to find my blog for the past few days. It's actually quite funny. She's always getting so angry, because she can't find it. Well, I guess no one can, because I still have no followers, haha.
Well, CBS's "Survivor" is going to start in a minute or so, so I'm going to go now. I'll post later maybe, or some other day.
Bye!

Bothersome Beyond Belief
So, if you read my last post, titled "Some People..." you'd know I'm in a little bit of a pickle right now, with an ex-bestfriend. Well, it's gotten even more complicated since then. However, all I want to do right now is scream. Why? SHE MADE A BLOG TOO. Her Aim status update: "i havee a blog! good luck finding it (:" How bothersome, considering I made mine weeks ago, and NOW she decides she wants one too. Nice. Even nicer, considering she made it on the four month anniversary, of when she decided she never wanted to speak to me again. Strange? Most definitely.
Well, I'd best be going now. I'm going to attempt to find her blog, and see if she's written about me. Wish me luck.

Some People...
Listening to: "Backstabber" - Ke$ha
Oh, how perfectly the song fits what's been happening for the past few days. Some people... really piss me off.
A tip of advice: NEVER say anything online, that you don't want other people finding out about. And secondly, NEVER fully trust someone. Watch what you say, to everyone. People change, long story short. And when people change, friendships change too. Sometimes for the worse.
Also, never talk about friends online, to other friends, even if you just need to vent. Make a blog, or find a site where you can post those sorts of things, where your friends can't see. This stands for ALL COMPLAINTS about anything your friends do, that you dislike. Don't complain to another friend, no matter how close you and that friend may be.
REMEMBER, it is very easy to save IM conversations, and retrieve them at a later date. This goes for Aim, Windows Messenger... any instant messenger. If the program doesn't have an automatic IM-archiving feature, IMs can still be easily copy and pasted into a text document, and saved for later.
To sum this all up, and to tell you what happened to me... (this is my form of venting, so that no friends will see) I had a best friend, named Marie. We told each other everything, and she archived all her IM conversations, and never told me. (I did not archive IMs, I did not even know it was possible) Then one day, she decided she never wanted to speak to me again. Four months later Marie dug up an IM I sent her quite a while back, complaining about how one of my other friends (Elizabeth) had done something to anger me. My ex-bestfriend sent the IM to Elizabeth, and Elizabeth now ignores me, and talks about me, right in front of my face, to my other good friend (named Jordan [for reference, Jordan is a girl] ).
However, soon after sending the archived IMs to Elizabeth, Marie texted me, apologizing, explaining that she felt extremely guilty, and felt horrible about being mean to me. She told me she "talked about me" to Elizabeth, but did not specify anything. I did not know anything else about the IMs at the time, though, so I quickly forgave her, simply because I'd so terribly missed having a best friend, and missing having someone to confide in.
Well, the next day, I was at lunch, sitting with Jordan and Elizabeth. Elizabeth had come in, and said with a sour note in her voice, "I was talking to Marie last night," but said nothing more about it. She ignored me for the rest of lunch, talking to Jordan. She kept saying things like "She's such a bitch." "That stupid bitch ho." "She's a waste of a person." "She doesn't care about you either, and she doesn't want to be your friend." (Reference: I never posted anything negative about Jordan in those IMs) I quickly caught on that she was talking about me, and I instantly knew Marie had not totally told me about exactly what she sent Elizabeth.
Now, I ignore them both. Elizabeth, for not seeing that we've fought before, and that I've been a truer friend then Marie has ever been for Elizabeth. Marie, because she may have apologized, but for the four months that we hadn't spoken to each other, I said nothing negative about her, to ANYONE. And here, she had perfectly demonstrated that she has spoken about me, at least once. Possibly more.
If you took the time to read all of that, kudos to you. I hope it was worth your time, and that it's taught you something. If you've got any opinions, or suggestions on what I should do about all of this, please leave me a comment. Thanks.

Spring Break, Anyone?
Spring break! Gosh, it's practically over, it feels. Wednesday already? And Monday we'll be back in school. I feel silly, having wasted away most of my spring break, on my laptop, and at home. I've gone to the movies, what, once? Yeah. Well, tomorrow I'll be going to the boardwalk. With my dad, and little sister. Joy. That's exactly what I wanted. Oh well. At least I'm getting out of the house, right? Can't complain about that.
Oh, I'm not sure if I already posted it, but I do live in New Jersey. And I can't stand that "Jersey Shore" show on MTV. That is what the shoobies do, not normal people, that live by the beach. (Please go find the term on Urban Dictionary if you are not familiar with the term "shoobie".) But those shoobies! Oh, in the summer time, the traffic trying to go anywhere near the beach is absolutely TERRIBLE. Really.
Well now that I've pointlessly rambled on slightly about "Jersey Shore" and shoobies, I'm kind of lost in my discussion with myself. I really need to pick a topic for each post, and stay with it.
Well everyone, enjoy the rest of your spring break. Bye.
